In August 2006, Nu Club was presented with an opportunity to reduce the electrical bill of the chapter house. Brother Sloan Griffin, the Vice Noble Ruler of Finance, scheduled Smart Energy Solutions, Inc. to make the presentation to Nu Club. Smart Energy installed a no-cost computer system to monitor and control the power usage of all the major electrical appliances in the house. From August 2006 to March 2007, the electrical bill has been reduced by 35%. That’s a savings of over $7,600! Thank you Sloan for your initiative to help Nu Club.
